Based in the idyllic seaside village of Port Douglas, the FNSF fleet enjoys the prefect launching point to experience the spectacular beauty of this famous World Heritage listed area.
Far North Sport Fishing explores some of the most pristine environments in the world. Guests explore FNQ's bejewelled reef systems and remote rivers between Cooktown and the tip of Cape York, areas rarely visited, let alone fished by recreational fishermen. These vast fishing grounds offer prolific wildlife experiences and some of the most exciting fishing opportunities known.
Clients fly in to link up with our luxury mothership ( Blue Martini) which anchors in the sheltered confines of remote bays and gentle reef atolls of Far North Queeensland.

Remote Barra Expeditions - February - April
Far North Queensland offers some of the best barramundi fishing grounds on the planet with the peak times during the lead up to and run off from the wet season.
This is serious fishing, as with all FNSF charters. Every guest is equipped with the highest grade tackle and equipment. What sets FNSF apart from its competitors is the level of service and the scale of luxury that guests receive.
At the end of a hard day's fishing, they step out of the purpose built centre consoles and onto the sheer luxury of the 70 foot mothership "Blue Martini".

This is the time for the guests to re-live the day's highlights on the action camera footage, enjoy a drink on the sunset deck and savour a 5 star dinner created by "Blue Martin's chef from the finest produce that Queensland has to offer.

Bluewater Adventure - Operates year round
Blue water anglers are renowned for their love of the thrill of the chase and the giant trevally is the ultimate prize! Add in Spanish mackerel, coral trout, juvenile black marlin and sailfish to name a few.... there's better location to catch them.

No travelling back to port each night, stay out on the reef where the action is on board "Blue Martini" and save hours of travelling time each day.

Billfish Mania - Mid September to Mid December
During this period, the waters off Far North Queensland is where the giant black marlin arrive for their breeding season. Catching black marlin over 600lb is not unusual...over 1000lb is not unexpected. FNSF's gameboat is a state of the art 40 footer with some the best crew this part of the world has to offer.

Superbly appointed interior design with luxury fabrics and finishes.
2 x queen cabins with ensuite, 2 x twin cabins with a shared bathroom
Fully air-conditioned cabins and living spaces, house keeping services, onboard chef operating from a full galley, hi-tech entertainment system including smartphone dock, games, GoPro cameras, latest movies and extensive music selection.
Expansive living areas including saloon, sundeck, indoor and outdoor dining areas, barbeque and swim deck with outdoor shower.
State-of-the-art Furano navigation systems, inflatable 10 foot tender with 9.9hp outboard, ample power supply from 2 three phase gen sets.
Engine plant includes 2 x 150KW Gardner Diesels, fuel capacity of 30,000 litres.
Cruising speed of 8.5 knots, cruising range of 10,000 miles (East Coast of Australia to Mainland USA).

20 foot Centre Console Boats
Each of the three centre consoles are crewed by our own expert guides with ample room for multiple anglers. The vessels are designed and built to AMSA survey specifications specially for far north Queensland conditions.
Equipped with custom made tackle and customised outriggers, full Garmin electronics package, powered by Yamaha 100hp 4-stroke outboards.

Black Magic - 40 foot Gameboat
The 40 foot custom built gameboat provides a great platform for heavy and light tackle saltwater conventional, fly and reef fishing.
Black Magic operates out of Port Douglas where anglers can enjoy an unparalleled sport fishing experience. With its twin cabin layout, Black Magic can provide guests with comfortable accommodation and a perfect platform to traverse the fish rich waters from Port Douglas up to the remote Ribbon Reefs and north to Lizard Island....or you can cross hire "Blue Martini" to have extreme comfort.
