  • The River

Kangia River is the hidden gem of Greenland’s west coast. Known amongst locals and a few off-the-grid-anglers for its high numbers of fish and very good average size, it was also known for its sheer unbelievable structure and beauty beyond compare. A river truly made for fly anglers. Cut-banks, rapids, slow and deep stretches, waterfalls, pocket-water all the way down to the tidal influenced delta – this river offers anglers a variety of waters and techniques along its wild meandering way down to the coast. A waterfall 6 kilometers up the valley blocks the migrating fish from entering the headwaters as well as the lake far upstream – these waters are inhabited by ice age char.
