A typical day at Potato Bush Camp on the Lower Zambezi:
WAKE-UP & MORNING ACTIVITY
A typical morning in the Lower Zambezi begins with early morning tea and coffee and oats porridge before heading out for some fishing on the Zambezi River. Full day trips with packed lunches are available as well. Alternatively, guests wishing to enjoy a game drive, safari walk, canoe trip or boat cruise need simply speak to the hosts to arrange these activities.
Return for brunch at Potato Bush or Sausage Tree and thereafter, there is time for an afternoon siesta or relaxing time around the pool.
Meet again on the deck for high tea before departing for your afternoon’s fishing or safari activity.
Return after sunset in the evening for a shower before meeting around a roaring fire for drinks followed by dinner
The best part about a visit to Sausage Tree and Potato Bush Camps is that they are located within the Lower Zambezi National Park and therefore, their fishing and wildlife encounters are far superior to those venues outside the Park and all park fees are included in the price. In addition to this, directly opposite the camps is Mana Pools National Park and therefore, you have protected wildlife land and fishing waters both up and downstream camp and on both sides of the river. Included in the rates are all game drives, canoe safaris, bush walks and boat cruises. At any point, you simply need to speak to your hosts and arrange these activities if you wish to do these instead of fishing.
FINAL DAY ACTIVITY & MEAL:
Following coffee and the morning’s activity, you will be able to enjoy a final breakfast.
Please settle any drinks as well as any gratuities you feel you may wish to handover.
DEPARTURE TIME & MODE:
