Bullo River Station - Northern Territory
Bullo River Station, formerly owned by famous author and T.V personality Sarah Henderson, and her daughter Marlee and Marlee’s husband Franz. Since 2015, Bullo River Station has been under new ownership. The Farris and McCleary families envisage a long future with the historic property and are dedicated to building the property up to increase its exclusivity.
Accessible most of the year around by a private charter flight from either Darwin or Kununurra, Bullo River Station is situated in the heart of the Eastern Kimberley Range.
This working cattle station covers an area of some 1200 square miles or ½ a million acres. The Bullo River runs completely through the property eventually meandering its way into the mighty Victoria River which makes for a spectacular boundary to this huge property.
The Bullo and Victoria rivers are very remote, offering clients a very unique, diverse and beautiful fishing experience. The amazing freshwater gorges are home to: Barramundi, Saratoga and Sooty Grunter. While the tidal rivers have large populations of Barramundi, Mangrove Jacks, Threadfin Salmon and Jewfish
The Bullo River Station is completely isolated from road transport for the months between November and May, depending on the extent of the wet season, but remains accessible to a limited but fortunate few clients by air.
