CY Charters Albany Island Insane Fishing

Thursday, April 28, 2016

Gavin Finlayson and a few friends recently returned from a trip to Albany Island in Far North Queensland for a trip they'll never forget with CY Charters. On there return I caught up with Gavin to chat about his trip. "We expected there to be good fishing on the trip as we knew that Angling Adventures wouldn't book clients to a lodge that was good but the fishing far exceeded our expectations" Gavin said.

Usually on a fishing trip of any kind it can take a few hours to get into the swing of things but within 10 minutes of being on the water and with the lodge in the background Tony hooked into a solid spanish mackrell which set the tone for the trip. Fish after fish was finding the net. The boys were treated under the experienced eye of guide Hamish to some insane fishing for Jew fish, Nannygai, Trevally and some endless sessions on big queen fish on service lures.

You know your having a good trip when you can barely feel yours arms as you've been fighting way too many hard fighting fish. Along with the amazing fishing at the end of each day the boys loved the lodge accommodation and meals.

If you would like to experience some of this insane fishing then give us a call as the CY Charters Lodge is a very cost effective option for some truly memorable fishing.
